Cloud Communication Solution UNIVERGE BLUE Continues Global Launch as NEC Welcomes Ireland
London, Hilversum, Dublin, Belfast, 7 December 2023 – NEC, a global leader in communications & IT solutions, announced today it will be launching the UNIVERGE BLUE Cloud Solution in Ireland from January 2024. This will include the complete cloud services platform with enterprise grade telephony, collaboration, contact centre, webinar, chat, file synching, archiving, webinar, AI, Teams integration and more.
This latest launch represents NEC's next step of global expansion into cloud-based communications and collaboration services in new regions. Ireland can now benefit from NEC’s power of choice i.e. the option of on-premises, cloud and hybrid solutions.

The telecoms market in Ireland has excellent potential and is worth over €3.7bn. NEC continues its rich history in Ireland with almost three decades of supplying enterprise communication solutions to businesses of all sizes. Already available in Northern Ireland since its launch in 2020, resellers from the Republic of Ireland will be given full access the solution portfolio with the convenience of a single portal with a single monthly bill, and all payable in euros. They will also benefit from the latest promotions includes free business telephones for new customers along with the latest product releases and developments.

To further support the launch, NEC will be hosting two launch events in mid-January in Dublin and Belfast, where resellers can get a first look at the award winning Cloud Platform and partner program. Key takeaways will include unique selling points; benefits of customer ownership, free online on-boarding, month-to-month billing, live demonstrations; vertical market selling opportunities and a chance to meet the NEC team in person.
